About Maryland Senior Advisors

Maryland Senior Advisors is a locally owned senior living advisory service founded by Stephen Okonmah, dedicated to helping families navigate senior housing decisions with clarity, integrity, and compassion. The organization was built on a strong ethical foundation, with a focus on providing respectful, personalized guidance during one of life's most important transitions.

With a long-standing commitment to serving seniors, Stephen began volunteering in his teenage years and later with the Baltimore County Department of Aging, gaining firsthand experience supporting older adults and understanding the responsibilities involved in their care. This background continues to shape the company's approach, ensuring that every interaction is handled with professionalism and genuine care.

Prior to entering the senior care industry, Stephen earned a business degree and became an Enrolled Agent, a federally authorized tax professional credentialed by the Internal Revenue Service. This experience provides valuable insight into the financial considerations families often face, particularly for seniors navigating complex decisions. He continues to give back by volunteering his time to assist seniors during tax season.

Maryland Senior Advisors is committed to maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical conduct. Every client relationship is handled with discretion and respect, with a focus on protecting personal information and honoring the dignity of each individual served.

The mission is simple: to provide trusted guidance, reduce stress for families, and help seniors find a safe, supportive place to call home.
